Statement as of 3:16 PM EST on February 10, 2012

... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 10 PM this evening to
10 am EST Saturday...

The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a Winter
Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 10 PM this
evening to 10 am EST Saturday.

* Locations... portions of northeast Maryland, northern Delaware
and south-central New Jersey.

* Hazard types... snow.

* Snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches.

* Timing... a mix of rain and snow tonight will transition to all
snow by early Saturday morning. The snow may fall moderately at
times Saturday morning and will taper off during the afternoon.

* Impacts... snow will cover unpaved and colder surfaces. If the
snowfall intensity increases on Saturday Road and sidewalk
surfaces may become snow covered.

* Winds... north 5 to 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Temperatures... in the upper 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
