Statement as of 8:00 am PDT on May 18, 2012

... Flood Warning now in effect until late Saturday night...
the Flood Warning continues for
the Okanogan river near Tonasket.
* Until late Saturday night.
* At 7:15 am Friday the stage was 15.01 feet.
* Flood stage is 15.00 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 15.3 feet by
late this afternoon. The river will fall below flood stage tomorrow
afternoon.
* At 15.0 feet... minor flooding of low-lying areas is likely between
Oroville and Tonasket.
