Statement as of 10:43 am PST on February 11, 2012

... High surf advisory remains in effect until 4 PM PST Sunday...

* surf... surf will range from 5 to 7 feet through this evening.
The largest surf will occur along exposed west facing shores.
The surf will subside overnight and range from 3 to 5 feet
Sunday.

* Impacts: strong rip currents will exist in the vicinity of the
large breaker and ocean activities will be potentially
dangerous for anyone.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area... producing rip currents and localized beach
erosion.
