Statement as of 1:38 PM EST on November 19, 2008

... Freeze warning now in effect from 2 am to 8 am EST Thursday...

The freeze warning is now in effect from 2 am to 8 am EST
Thursday.

Another freeze event is forecast tonight across the interior
where temperatures are forecast to bottom out between 28 and
30 degrees. Areas at the coast and along the St. Johns River can
expect low temperatures in the lower to mid 30s.

A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or
expected for at least 2 hours. Appropriate action should be
taken to ensure tender vegetation... outdoor pets... and exposed
water pipes have adequate protection from the cold temperatures.
Young children... the elderly and the homeless are especially
vulnerable to the cold. Take measures to protect them.

... Red flag warning remains in effect from 11 am to 5 PM EST
Thursday...
... Red flag warning for Wednesday has expired...

The red flag warning for Wednesday is no longer in effect. A red
flag warning remains in effect from 11 am to 5 PM EST Thursday.

5 hours.

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly.

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
