Fire Weather Warning
Statement as of 2:16 PM EST on November 19, 2008

... Red flag warning in effect from 11 am to 5 PM EST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Melbourne has issued a red flag
warning... which is in effect from 11 am to 5 PM EST Thursday. The
Fire Weather Watch is no longer in effect.

Drier air will reside over the warning area through Thursday with
relative humidity levels falling below 35 percent for 4 to 5 hours
Thursday afternoon. Slightly higher afternoon temperatures are
expected Thursday afternoon as well.

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now... or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds... low relative humidity... and warm temperatures will
create explosive fire growth potential.
