... Hot and humid this afternoon...

The heat index is forecast to rise to near 100 degrees this
afternoon along and east of Interstate 95. The highest readings are
expected in urban locations such as Baltimore and Washington DC... and
along portions of the western shore of the Chesapeake Bay.

Those who venture outdoors should stay well hydrated and take
frequent breaks from the heat in air conditioned buildings... especially
during peak heating between 2 PM and 6 PM.
