... Powerful Arctic cold front moving through Southeast Michigan...

At 810 PM an Arctic cold front was located from 5 miles north of New
Baltimore to 21 miles northwest of Cement City... moving south at 20
mph.

The cold front will be moving through...
Troy... South Lyon... Hamburg around 830 PM...
Whitmore Lake... Sterling Heights... Novi... Mount Clemens around 840
PM...
Southfield... Salem... Royal Oak around 850 PM...

Winds will turn to the north and gust to 30 mph behind this cold
front. Heavy falling and blowing snow will reduce visibilities to
one half of a mile. The front will cause temperatures to fall 10
degrees in a short period of time... icing up roads quickly with its
passage. Total accumulations by late tonight are expected to range
between 1 and 3 inches.
