Wind Advisory
Statement as of 4:08 am EST on January 7, 2009

... Wind Advisory remains in effect until 5 am EST Thursday...

southwest winds will increase to 25 to 35 mph this morning with
gusts as high as 50 mph possible as a strong cold front approaches
eastern North Carolina. Winds will shift to the west as the front
moves across area late this afternoon with strong gusts continuing
tonight.

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 31 to 39 mph with higher
gusts are expected. Winds this strong can make driving
difficult... especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra
caution.
