* Locations... foothills and Piedmont of the Carolinas and northeast Georgia.
* Hazards... windy conditions on area lakes.
* Timing... gusty northwest winds will develop late this morning and will remain through early this evening. The strongest gusts may occur during the mid afternoon.
* Winds... northwest 20 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 to 40 mph.
* Impacts... conditions will be unsafe for boating on area lakes.
