Special Statement
Statement as of 3:28 PM EST on February 11, 2012

... Increased fire danger across central North Carolina Sunday...

Steady west northwest winds around 15 mph with gusts around 25 mph
will occur Sunday. These winds combined with relative humidity
values falling to near 20 percent will lead to adverse fire weather
conditions on Sunday across all of central North Carolina. Any fires
that occur could begin to burn out of control under these conditions.

Anyone planning to conduct burning Sunday should consider postponing
until more favorable conditions occur.
