Statement as of 5:05 am CST on February 11, 2012

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until 10 am CST this
morning...

* temperatures... low temperatures this morning will range from
around 0 to 6 degrees below zero with wind chill values at times
around 20 degrees below zero.

* Winds... north winds at 10 to 15 mph will add to the chill.

* Impact... wind chill values this low can be dangerous and
result in frost bite as well as hypothermia if precautions are
not taken.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and wind will
combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in frost
bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken. If
you must venture outdoors... make sure you wear a hat and gloves.
