Dense Fog Advisory
Statement as of 9:38 PM CST on November 19, 2008

... Dense fog advisory in effect from 3 am to 9 am CST Thursday...

The National Weather Service in Corpus Christi has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect from 3 am to 9 am CST Thursday.

Patchy to dense fog with visibilities ranging from one eighth to
one half mile is anticipated between 3 am to 9 am across most
areas of south Texas.

Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution and use low beam
headlights late tonight through early daylight hours Thursday morning.
Leave plenty of distance between you and the car in front and
allow extra time to reach your destination. A dense fog advisory means
that fog is expected to reduce visibilities to one-quarter of a
mile or less for 2 or more hours.

The fog is expected to lift by mid Thursday morning with daytime
heating.
