... Flash Flood Watch in effect from 2 PM this afternoon to 9 PM
MDT this evening...

The National Weather Service in Cheyenne has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for portions of south central Wyoming and
southeast Wyoming... including the following areas... in south
central Wyoming... north Carbon and southwest Carbon. In
southeast Wyoming... Laramie valley and Snowy Range.

* From 2 PM this afternoon to 9 PM MDT this evening

* slow moving thunderstorms will be able to produce 1 to 3 inches
of rainfall in a short time.

* Areas that have been previously saturated by rainfall during the
past couple days will see the greatest threat.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
